How does it work:
Uprima tablets are taken orally and dissolved under the tongue.
UPRIMA triggers the release of dopamine and increases the levels
of nitric oxide in the body that dilates blood vessels increasing
blood flow to the penis. UPRIMA helps men with erectile dysfunction
attain and maintain an erection.
Dosages:
UPRIMA is available in dosages of 2mg
and 3mg doses. UPRIMA should only be taken once every 8 hours (no
more than three times every 24 hours).
CAUTION: Do NOT take UPRIMA if you:
- are a child or a women
- suffer from acute angina, severe heart failure, myocardial
infraction or any condition where sexual activity is not recommended
- are taking it with other centrally active dopamine agonists or antagonists. This is due to the risk of pharmacodynamic reactions
- IF YOU suffer from impaired renal or hepatic functions, you
must first consult with your doctor before considering taking
UPRIMA
- IF YOU are taking hypertensives or nitrate medications, you
must consult with your doctor before considering taking UPRIMA.
Nitrates are found in prescription medicines used to treat angina.
Such medicines are Isosorbide mononitrate, Isosorbide dinitrate,
Nitroglycerin, Nitrates found in recreational drugs such as
amyl nitrate (poppers)
Side Effects:
The most common side effects from taking UPRIMA are headache, nausea,
dizziness, infection, pain, sweating, flushing, yawning, taste disorder,
rhinitis, pharyngitis, coughing and somnolence. These side effects
are mild and tend to last for only short periods of time. |
